This is similar to putting a 2K CYX on a riser in a 5K fixture. The output is comparable to a 2K, but you get better performance from the LED because of the increased cooling available in a 5K fixture, and the marvelous big-light look from the larger Fresnel lens.
Instantly upgrade existing an Arri, Mole, Desisti or other 5 kilowatt halogen Fresnel fixture to a daylight (or tungsten) color temperature LED instrument in 10 seconds.
This LED Lamp is a drop-in replacement of the DPY Halogen Lamp, but the Correlated Color Temperature will now be 5000ºKelvin.
The upgraded light draws only 275 watts and supports external legacy dimmers, requiring no change to infrastructure. It focuses the same as the halogen using the fixture’s existing mechanism. It produces high-quality light with even spectral distribution.
